Minimal Access Surgery

Keyhole Surgery with 4K Ultra-HD Clarity

Laparoscopic or “keyhole” surgery is carried out through small incisions using a camera and fine instruments, rather than one large opening.

Pratheep Nursing Home operates as the PSR Superspeciality Adult & Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgical Centre, with minimal access surgery as its core focus. The centre uses a 4K ultra-HD laparoscopic camera system paired with a 55-inch surgical grade monitor, giving the surgical team high clarity during procedures.

Dr. Pratheep Samraj holds FIAGES in laparoscopy alongside DNB qualifications in General Surgery and Paediatric & Neonatal Surgery, so both adult and paediatric laparoscopic work is carried out at the centre.

Whether laparoscopic surgery is suitable for a particular patient depends on their medical condition and evaluation by the treating surgeon. It is not appropriate in every case.
